Oh my goodness Layla!

So I didn’t like dogs. My wife gets a dog for the kids when they were young. Didn’t take long dog lived on my lap, and I was one that looked forward to walking the little guy everyday.

Was never a fan of cats at all. My daughter gets a cat, now I’m a cat lover.

Do it for the kids…

Enjoyable piece, and that kitty cat you’re sitting is adorable!

Kevin, I can’t believe you have been turned twice in to firstly loving dogs and then cats.

I think it’s inevitable that I may warm up to it but don’t ever see the cat living on my lap.

Oooh my Lord. Cats. I know what cats have done to me. It is a bad story, not a pleasant one. But yet personal.

Cats, dogs, any animals domistication inside the home, with emphasis on inside the home, is a dangerous adventure. Raise them in the backyard, love them, play with them, do whatever you want to do with them, but outside. Once inside you need to watch for the integrity of the family. If there is a family.

Saw the dog comment. You don't exist to me any more, LOL!

Will continue now, once I've picked myself up off the floor.

In terms of the cat breed, having studied the photo, I'm pleased to confirm that it is, indeed, a cat.

I’m reading this comment after just seeing your dog post. Hahaha 😂

Firstly, I’m glad your youngest pup is feeling better. Secondly, I don’t hate animals, I’ve just never been around them long enough to form a bond, or any kind of attachment but I’m slowly warming up to my temporary cat.

I knew the dog comment would upset a few people. I’m really glad you’re still here and haven’t unsubscribed… yet!

I'm an animal lover throughout, even bugs go but I'm also a bit glad that you're a city girl since nature appreciates you leaving it alone.

If all of humanity loved going in nature there'd be nothing left after billions camp outdoors

You’ve raised an interesting point about animals being in the city and leaving nature alone. I never thought of it like that, though I’ve been to London Zoo and felt sad to see so many animals like lions and tigers in central London. They looked so sad out of their natural habitat in cages.

Advice. Personal. Your kids after the cat goes back to its owner may demand a cat to play with. Do not do it. Whatsoever.

OMG love!! Dropping cat tax below here!

And I came here to say I got my first free subscriber yesterday!!!! I am just having fun experimenting. We all start somewhere.

This space has helped me start moving again.

I’ve noticed others sharing similar things—like we’re all waking up to a version of ourselves that feels a little more aligned, a little more honest. And even if most of these posts only get a handful of views, it still matters.

The words are out of my head, and into the world. And maybe, just maybe, they land where they need to.

Whether it's a moment of validation, a reminder you’re not alone, or even a good hair product rec or a date night idea—if anything I share resonates, that’s pretty special. 💕💕💕💕💕 WE see you, keep going!

Hello! Offended reader here 😂. What upsets me most is when people put cats under one umbrella. Yes, there are thousands of different breeds, and yes they all have different temperaments, characteristics and personalities. I breed the British Shorthair for their loving, friendly nature and gentle behaviour towards people. Once you experience a love of a cat all ignorance will be gone 😁🙌🏼
